Up to 98% of carpet is manufactured in the United States, and most is made to be stain-resistant. Stain resistant on carpet is not permanent and wears off in 200 -250 vacuums. It is recommended that you refresh stain protection periodically.

When moving heavy wheeled furniture (pianos, buffets, etc.), prevent damage by placing a protective barrier of heavy cardboard or plywood between the wheels and the carpet. Olefin/berber carpet burns at 165 degrees dry. It will literally melt if there is too much friction. Be very careful about dragging anything across it.
